Minura Pro – Smart Rechargeable CIC Hearing Aids with App Control

I'm on my first week with the Minura Pro in-ear aids. So far they are great but it must be stressed how important it is to use the correct size domes. It took a little experimenting but has been well worth it. I soon got used to the feel of them in my ears and so much better than my behind-the-ear ones that they replace.

Minura Pro feel like they were designed for everyday people, not just tech experts. Setup was guided, adjustments were intuitive, and I didn’t feel lost at any point. There’s definitely an adjustment period, both physically and mentally. Once I stopped overthinking it and let my ears adapt, the experience improved noticeably.

These are my first in-canal hearing aids, and overall I’m very pleased. They’re extremely small and discreet. The sound quality exceeded my expectations, and I really like that everything is controlled through the app, including the hearing test. There was a short learning curve at the start, but it was worth it.

I've had these aids for 12 days now. Definitely noisy here. I have to be patient though. My ears aren't used to having an object in them, start with smaller domes for a couple of hours at a time. I them tried larger domes to stop the occasional whistle. The inner ear needs a little while to get used to the sound so start with lower sound levels. The ability to switch modes via your phone, eg normal to group when you go shopping or to the pub is great; also to tone down wind noise when out for a walk.

Early to give a complete review. The positives so far are that it does a much better job at improving by high frequency hearing than my NHS hearing aids, makes using my glasses much better than NHS behind the ear units, charging is really convenient. Two downsides at present, stopping feedback is taking some learning, and still not there, and the most annoying feature is that when you have found the right size domes replacements come as mixture instead of being able to buy a pack of the right size. This makes the hearing aids potentially very expensive. Depending on replacement needs.
Overall they seem to be successful, if I can fully resolve the feedback.

I'm now used to slipping in the Claritytone Minura Pro hearing aids each morning and soon forgetting they are there. Experimenting with the different size silicon tips is so important. It would be better if the correct size tips could be purchased separately rather than sets of every size. The app takes a little time to master but is well worth the effort.

The aids are working fine. They do not feel as secure in the ear as I would like but only once has one fallen out. When putting them in, getting them at the correct angle can take a little time but once set correctly I do not notice them and I can hear clearly again. On the negative side the app closes down within seconds after it is launched.

I've had it a few days now, and so far so good. It replaces my free NHS hearing aid, which was so difficult to fit, to operate and to keep clear of ear wax that I hardly ever used it. The Minura Pro plugs directly into the ear instead of hanging over it, and you control it with a smartphone app - much easier. The app needs Apple iOS 12 or later, or Android 10 or later. You can be your own audiologist with the built in hearing loss test, and fine tune things with the equaliser. There is no need for any fiddling with tiny controls on the device itself. The promise of a refund within 30 days if needed is reassuring.

For seniors like my grandfather who like to be out and about frequently, this hearing aid is an essential tool for communicating with others. He said the noise reduction effect is very good and you can hear clearly even in noisy places. The charging box is also very convenient to use. His fingers have lost dexterity, but he praises how useful it is with the app control. He is particularly satisfied with the design of the ear hooks, which are very comfortable to wear and not easy to slip off. It works very well so far, and my grandpa likes it very much, saying that it is more like a considerate auditory assistant, making him more comfortable and happy in daily life. We are very happy about this too.

These worked well for me! I will be purchasing an extra pair of these! They were worth my time and money!
