Do I need a hearing test first?
No test is required to buy. The Minura Pro is a self-fit aid for mild to moderate hearing difficulty. That said, a hearing check is always sensible — and you should see a GP or audiologist first if your hearing loss is sudden, in one ear only, or comes with pain, discharge or dizziness.
Can I take phone calls through them?
Yes. The Aurex connects to your phone over Bluetooth, so phone calls — and music or the TV — can be streamed straight into your hearing aids. You pair them once in the app and you're set.
Will they whistle or produce feedback?
The Aurex uses feedback control designed to reduce whistling. Most whistling is caused by a poor seal, so choosing the right dome size from the ones included usually solves it. If it persists, our team will help you get the fit right.
Are they comfortable to wear all day?
They're designed for it — a lightweight behind-the-ear body with a thin wire and a soft dome in the ear. Most people forget they're wearing them after a short adjustment period, and you're covered by the 30-day trial if they don't suit you.
Will people notice I'm wearing them?
The Aurex sits behind the ear with only a thin wire into the ear canal, so it's slim and discreet. It comes in Black and Gold to blend with your hair or skin tone.
Are they water-resistant?
Yes — AUREX is IP67 certified, meaning full protection against dust and water resistance for everyday life: rain, sweat, splashes and workouts are no problem. Like all IP67 devices, they're not designed for swimming or submersion. If you're searching for waterproof hearing aids for daily wear, this is the protection that matters.
